Math
In addition to direct daily math instruction, students practice math skills as part of their morning work and through games and projects.
Reading
Students are taught reading daily in small flexible groups. Students are given direct instruction in spelling, handwriting, and grammar throughout the grades.
Spanish
Students start to learn Spanish in pre-kindergarten
Special Subjects
Students in every grade participate in Special Subject classes: science, Spanish, art, music, tech & innovation, library, P.E.
Interscholastic Athletics
Fifth and sixth graders participate on interscholastic sports teams in the fall, winter, and spring (soccer, flag football, cross country, basketball, baseball, softball, and pickleball) as part of the Physical Education program.
