Admissions Overview 2025-2026
The Tenacre Admission process for enrollment for the 2027-2028 school year will begin in October 2026. All applicant families are required to conduct an interview (via Zoom or in person) with the Director of Enrollment before the application deadline of February 5, 2027. Interviews for the 27-28 school year will begin in October 2026.
For students applying for grades PK and Kindergarten, we will host a group visit for all PK and Kindergarten applicants as well as a 30 minute individual visit. All PK and Kindergarten applicants should plan to attend a group visit and the individual visit. To schedule your group visit and individual visit please email or call Elizabeth O'Connell at eoconnell@tenacrecds.org. The Group Visit dates will be released early September 2026. Individual visits are scheduled for 30 minute blocks on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday morning from 8:30am - 11:00am, and these visits start in December 2026.
Pre-Kindergarten applicants must have reached the age of 4, and Kindergarten applicants must be 5 by September 1st of the school year in which they will enroll. A child applying for PK should have some prior formal school experience, but it is not required. A child applying to K must have a prior formal school experience, which is the equivalent of at least three days/week. Children applying to both PK and K must be toilet trained.

For students applying to Grades 1–6, we plan to host an in-person screening day on January 30, 2027, that allows for in-person assessments.
Decision letters can be viewed in your applicant portal on Ravenna on March 10, 2027.

Registration is required, and the groups have limited space. These group tours are for adults only, and this event is not a required part of the application.
